Well that was fast.  This year started off with a running start and was pretty damn exciting.  Change of job, living situation, people getting married, babies popping out almost spontaneously, and a new President to come. But for some reason November and December seemed a little drab. Almost felt like those months really didn’t belong to 2008. I think mainly because the whole economy thing finally hit me.  I read about it in the news, heard it on the radio, but it never really hit me until the last couple of months when the people around me started getting laid off and my work load started to decline. 2008 started off so great, I’d hate to see it end like this.

See, this is what happens when you give someone like me time off.  I actually start thinking because I have nothing to do.  I have another week of winter nothingness, so we’ll see what other crazy things I can think of. Oh and please stop with the “See ya next year!!” farewells.  I hear it every. Single. Year. It wasn’t the funny the first time I heard it, and it’s not funny now.
